Tim Buckley a Soto Zen Priest of the Great River Zendo in West Bath Maine, passed to nirvana on April 16th, 2015. He was a student of Shunryu Suzuki Roshi. He took precepts in 1969 and was ordained as a priest in this tradition in 2011. He was a large presence in the Buddhist community in Maine and will be missed.
